Abduction (Amiga) Playthrough / He was abducted..... but are you certain?
Abduction (1998) by Psyche is one of the more interesting point-and-clicks in Sci-Fi settings that I've missed. It's one of those games that I was originally only supposed to run for a while but got so hardcore into that I played for so long until I finished :P In the game, we play as Connor. This man, for unknown reasons, found himself suddenly, in an alien environment, literally. Our task initially is to get out of the uncomfortable situation and find out what it's all about. And I have to personally admit that the game in terms of the plot is really interesting. All the intrigue is dosed to us really subtly, in such a way that we can feel the constant tension and desire to continue moving towards the goal. The game is presented from a bird's eye view, which not many games of the genre have used. It is very clear and the puzzles are rational. There are no silly, illogical solutions and each item is described in detail, enough to know its purpose. There are not many such games where everything is so obvious and clear if you read everything with understanding. For those who don't like to look for pixels, there is a menu with the help of which we can see all available interactions and objects in a given room. This is a perfectly realized convenience that should be used in more games of this type. As for me a great surprise , and one of the most interesting games I never got to play as a kid. Highly recommended.
