Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (Nes) Playthrough / One of the few environmental warriors worth noting.
3Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (1993) by Konami is one of the prettiest and also the best action platformers for the system. I must admit that I once had the game and remembered it always fondly. And now I know why I thought so for so many years. It is simply a masterpiece of sorts, which, unfortunately, somehow never enjoyed particular popularity. The reason for this was the game's rather late release date, because '93 was already the era of 16-bit consoles. It's a real shame that the game was released so late in the Nes life cycle. But it should also be mentioned here that if the game had been released earlier it probably would not have been so pretty. From what I've read Zen was originally a comic book character, which somehow never gained notoriety through sheer greed of publishers. Sad but at least during tegfo life cycle of the character managed to create a really good game . Zen is a typical platformer to which the developers approached with the idea of diversifying the gameplay of each level. The premise of each level is slightly different and sometimes even the perspective of the gameplay itself changes, which was 100% successful . And this is one of the few examples in the era of 2D games where a multi-perspective game was so successful and polished. Admittedly, we have to admit that the levels are really short, and the whole gameplay feels like one big boss rush. But that does not change the fact that the game is the maximum that the Nes could offer in terms of visuals. As for me it is one of the best games for the system and everyone should play it.
