Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Walkthrough Part 22: Diving For Medicines
0In January 1718, British king has declared a pardon for all pirates from Nassau who willingly give up their outlaw lifestyle, causing a rift in the pirate republic's leadership as Benjamin Hornigold leads the faction of pirates willing to consider such proposition while Ed Thatch and his followers remain dead-set on maintaining the republic as it is. Another problem in Nassau is rampant disease plauging the island's residents, causing another row between Hornigold and Thatch due to their differing opinions on the way medicine for Nassau should be acquired with Hornigold advocating non-violent approach while Thatch advocates doing whatever is necessary to get the medicine. While agreeing with Thatch regarding the issue of King's Pardon, Edward is willing to consider non-violent means of acquiring the medicine. Remembering that Spanish treasure fleet sank during hurricane in 1715 had some medicine onboard, Edward decides to sail towards the shipwrecks' site and search them using a diving bell with Thatch agreeing to help him. Eventually, Edward meets up with Thatch near one of the Spanish shipwrecks and dives into the sea to search it, managing to retrieve some medical elixirs. However, after he gets back onboard Thatch's ship, he reveals that the retrieval was a failure since elixirs have spoiled, making them useless. As the result, Thatch urges Edward to find another way to secure the medicine or else he will take matters into his own hands...
