Here, we come upon Waukeen's Rest.. which turns out was raided by goblins and drow. We save Counsellor Florrick and she rewards us with a new staff after telling us to rescue Duke Ravengard, who was taken west. We don't refuse or agree to the task... because it is what it is, honestly. Bonus points with the city could be beneficial, I guess, but meh.

We also save a man from being trapped under a beam. Not sure why, honestly. The building was going up in flames and I had a momentary lack of judgement in remembering that my character really doesn't care, lol. To semi-make up for it, I still sell the dowry ring.. which I was going to do anyway, but still.

Moving on, we then meet the Zhentarim using the passphrase told to us by the guy we saved from the gnolls. The leader isn't happy that he gave us the shipment, so she killed his buddy.. then tells us to kill him. We do, because why not.. then she tells us to deliver the package ourselves to Baldur's Gate. We'll see.

We tell an enslaved artist that he's on his own.. learn that Shadowheart is scared of wolves.. find an illusory wall that leads to an elevator to the Underdark.. and, uhhh, I think that's it.

Next time, we'll move on from Waukeen's Rest and continue westward.
