Of course, he's not the only one. A certain lava arachnid wants to join in on the fun, too.

You know, I think the way this game handles giving you new weapons and demon partners is interesting. They give you segments where you have to use them, so you get a chance to see how they work before you decide whether or not to incorporate them into your play style. I wouldn't call it a problem, per se, but the first two games let you get away with not trying new weapons if you didn't want to, and while that's obviously a player's prerogative, it meant not getting to see a weapon's utility. Seeing that is even more important this time around, thanks to Demon Masquerade giving you different movement options.

Anyway, one of the things that really rules about this game is that, at the end of each group of levels, you get big boss fights that are unlike any other fights in the game. And what better way to close out things in Tokyo with a big-ass kaiju fight?

After finishing an area, you also get a little diversion to see what Jeanne is up to. Finding Dr. Sigurd is her top priority, so she's not really looking for fights. That's the justification, anyway, for making her gameplay more of an arcade-y stealth action game. You have to infiltrate a facility that also happens to have enemies inside. You *can* fight, but it's slow, so it should only be a last resort. Instead, you should be sneaking around, crawling through vents and ducking through doors and even posing in front of posters to blend in. It's a nice little break!
