Returning back to Carmen to cure Nina's Amnesia, nobody remembers ever being affected by time, but some did wonder where Alan went. Seeking help from the medical specialist... Dr. Wily (this time he REALLY is a doctor). Actually, there are 2 Wilys in town. Anyways, he requests 4 ingredients to create a Tonic:

White Antlers (W. Ant): Should already have one in hand
Poisonous Fish (P. Fish): Fish out of Scande's Red Moat
Root: Dig from a Tall Plant outside Gramor
Coconut (C. Nut): Punch out of a Palm Tree

You should've procured at least 3 White Antlers from dressers and chests in towns, heck the 3rd one is literally upstairs in the doctor's office. IF SOMEHOW you lose ALL 3 Antlers (EVEN the one in the DOCTOR'S OWN HOME), you'll have to do it the hard way and hunt for the White Stag. Probably a good idea to change Karn into Shin-Bo for that. If you want to hunt for more White Antlers, being able to heal 100AP each, it is a more effective replacement for Acorns, just not stackable into groups of 9.

Resist the urge to go shopping in Carmen, because after healing Nina, all the remaining secret areas open up.

Along the way, Ryu and crew come across a young Cerl and Alan, in the empty ruins of her fortress. Whether these were phantasms, real, or illusions is up for debate.

With Nina cured at last, Gobi should return back to the Flea Market and procure the best items for the entire party:

Mallet: Strongest One-Handed Hammer for Ox
Glow Cane (GlowCN): Strongest Weapon for Bleu
Power Rapier (PowerRP): Strongest Weapon for Nina
Evil Robe (EvilRB): Strong Armor for Nina and Bleu that halves all magic damage
Mask Shield (MaskSH): Strongest Shield that everyone can wield
Dwarf Bow (DwarfBW): Strongest One-Handed Bow for Bo

Afterwards fly towards the remaining Dragon Marks and Fishing Wells. Also stop by the sunken towers near Agua to obtain the MOST powerful Rang, Tri-Rang (Guess the B. Rang isn't AS legendary as advertised...)

Ryu can now undertake his third Dragon Shrine Trial, having completed the second one previously and possessing the DragonAR.

Boss: Avian [23:18]
This guy hits pretty hard and is way more agile than Ryu. Each attack shaves off roughly 40HP. Use Bolt Dragon to topple him and use Cures after your life bar drops below 100HP.

Afterwards Ryu gains Rudra (Kaiser Dragon in JAP) powers and can now return back to the Ease Cave spring to obtain Agni (which I believe not only requires you to have Rudra, but also the DragonHT). The DragonSH never appears to be a requirement for any Dragon Trial, strangely enough, even though it was fished out of a well. Perhaps the developers intended for at least one more Dragon Shrine Trial.

I'll be perfectly honest, Rudra is a much cooler looking Dragon than Agni and more dragon-like. Agni looks more like a Chimera and that never appeared right in my opinion. The redone portraits for both look amazing, but Rudra's still looks way more EPIC than Agni's.

One thing I nearly forgot completely is to give the old man in Auria a second back rub since Bleu has joined. Sure 20000 Gold doesn't feel like much now, but whatever.

Before hopping joyfully towards Scande, this is the ideal opportunity to level grind for the upcoming challenges, and is pretty much a must later on. On the same island with the sunken towers, occasionally, a Large Gold-colored SlimeX called a Metal Slime (M. Slime) can be fought. Defeating this giganto, always nets 9999 Experience and 9999 Gold. The guy only attacks one target each time, so he really can't be considered a threat.
