Still one more objective before fulfilling the promise to Ross to free his daughter and that is to visit the Dark Tower near Bleak. Beware of the Shadows in the tower, namely their instant death spells.

BOSS: Cloud [1:08]
Has quite a bit of HP compared to Wisp. His spells can be damaging, up to 40HP each time. His most damaging attack is his Earth Quake (Devistate) which does 45HP damage to everyone. Like the previous Key Guardian he has no second wind.

After retrieving the Dark Key and ending Bleak's eternal nights, the old man in the tower gives you his Mirror that can talk with the deceased. Without the mirror, you'll never be able to get permission to use Ross' ship.

BOSS: Knight + Archer [13:37]
Is this guy slightly stronger than the one fought all the way back in Nanai? I don't know, but he is pitifully weak at this point. His lackey doesn't fare any better. I do believe he is weaker than the General though. The Knight has no second wind.

Following the tussle, Ross' ship is destroyed and forces Ryu's crew to seek out Plan B which is to commandeer the Dark Dragon's own ship while it is parked on a hidden port. The Manilo merchant, Gobi offers you Gun Powder (GnPwdr) to blow up the debris blocking the access to it in exchange for a Gold Bar...WHAT? Anyways, hopefully you didn't foolishly sell away the one you picked up in the treasure chest. The port entrance is in the cave connecting Auria to Tantar.

BOSS: Squid [21:43]
Ryu's Thunder Dragon, Bo's Fry spell completely wastes away this boss in mere moments. His attacks aren't very heavy hitting, so they aren't really a major cause for concern even during his second wind.

Be sure to grab all the treasure chests and dresser items before leaving since when you actually board the ship to set sail, you don't get the opportunity to do so anymore, after setting sail on it. One confusing part that is poorly emphasized IF it did at all was that after defeating the captain (Squid), you had to return back to Auria port and recon with the Ross' captain. First time playing, nothing told me this and it took me a long time to figure this out. Non-existent design. In the coming cutscenes, Bo is shown to be a bit reserved, but still awesome as expected. While Karn shows a bit of his fragile side.

BOSS: Octo [30:03]
Like his brother, this guy is seafood soup when Ryu's Thunder Dragon and Bo's Fry spell saute and grill him. He only has slightly more HP than Squid, but not enough to really fend off your offensive strength. His attacks aren't as severe in comparison even if by a little.

Making a desperate move without thinking, Ryu's crew (and the dick of a fish merchant, Gobi) get carried off in the ocean currents to a deserted island. At least the heroes can rest assured that Auria was spared the backlash of the Dark Dragons involved with the entire fleet wiped out from the ammunition explosion.
