Gyro Pizza or Regular Gyro?!

Sure, calling this a pizza is a bit of a stretch… but hear me out! This tastes incredible, It’s very easy to make, and packs all the flavor you love from a normal gyro!

The gyro meat:
• 1.5-2 lbs of Ground Beef
• 1 tbsp each of Salt & pepper - use less if you prefer
• 1.5 tbsp ground cumin
• 1- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp ground coriander
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tsp smoked paprika

Just smash a generous amount of the seasoned beef onto a pita, and set aside.

Melt down some Ghee over medium heat, and place the pita in, meat side down and if needed you can press it down to get the best contact with the pan!

Cook for 3-5 minutes, I usually start checking it after 3 minutes. When the beef is cooked through, take it out and let it rest on a wire cooling rack so the pita doesn’t get soggy on the bottom.

Top this off with your favorite Gyro toppings and enjoy!
