Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (NES) Playthrough Part 2 - Fat Cat's Amusement Park
[Achieve a Ranger Emblem post Stage]
Western World's rail carts are not difficult to maneuver, but keep in mind that most of the stage's Ranger blocks are on the tracks, so it pays to slow down and collect them. This rail cart is way better than the one in DuckTales. I never had this much trouble with the card dealing boss; rarely does he toss 2 cards in the exact same direction, guess I should've had Dale jump more drastically in between cards.
Future World feels more like a workshop or machinery plant than an actual attraction that is to showcase the technology to come and forecast. It feels too static as well. If you forgot about tossing diagonally, you are probably not going to beat the chainball forklift boss anytime soon until you do.
Clock Tower makes me feel like I'm traversing a Castlevania stage. small square, grey platforms are sometimes obscured by everything around, leading me believe that players might forcibly make a long daredevil jump to the nest large platform. The ground moles are the biggest threat and can knock the chipmunks off platforms easily for a cheap death.
Fat Cat's secret passage is actually easier than his cat food cannery back in the first game, most notably that there are enough acorns in crates to fully heal the chipmunk(s) right before the final confrontation. The section with the bouncy ball cannons, can be pretty tricky. As for the final boss, the Fat Cat Robot; the biggest threats are his two hands, which can be easily disposed of by simply tossing the timed bomb on them even without exploding; 5 hits and both are done for. If you neglect to destroy his hands, he still isn't very hard, but those armaments can still be unpredictable. Once you do away with his hands, he is left to rely on his electro tail (which is a joke...) and his flame spurts during the second phase.
Can't help but make Dale do the Disco during the Final Boss battle, the dark room, the lighting on the floor and the music... seriously WHO wouldn't lol.
