Curse of Naxxramas Arachnid Quarter Bosess Basic Deck
Let's play some more Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas. This time a little guide or walkthrough of how to beat the arachnid quarter bosses with only level 1 basic free decks. That means using only the cards that Hearthstone gives you at the very start of the game. No expert cards from packs, not even any soulbound cards from leveling up.
I plan on doing this for all the Naxxramas wings, but I don't know how possible this will be. We will see as they are released, but if the difficulty of the Arachnid Quarter bosses is any indication, it should be alright.
If you're new to the game, this will hopefully teach you or at least help you beat the Arachnid Quarter Bosses in Naxxramas and get you some more cards. Note that you have to face the bosses in order of Anub'Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and then Maexxna so you will be able to unlock some new Naxxramas cards as you beat each one. The decks I use don't include any of these new cards, but using them may allow you to gain an edge. Remember the exact decklists I made are not important. They're probably not even the best ones. It's the basic idea of how they're designed and how you use them that is important to win. Also note that Hearthstone, and as a result, Curse of Naxxramas is a game of luck and RNG as much as it is a game of skill. Sometimes you'll just get a bad opening hand and some bad draws. Sometimes your opponents Webspinner will draw a King Krush for lethal when you're in an otherwise strong position. These things happen in card games like Hearthstone, but if you play consistently and have a consistent deck you'll be able to pull off the win on a regular basis against the AI bosses. Human players are different.
Following are the decklists featured in the video. They are designed with each boss's commonly used cards and hero power in mind.
Anub'Rekhan Priest Deck:
Holy Smite x2
Power Word: Shield x2
Elven Archer x2
Northshire Cleric x2
Shadow Word: Pain x2
Acidic Swamp Ooze x2
Bloodfen Raptor x2
Razorfen Hunter x2
Shattered Sun Cleric x2
Chillwind Yeti x2
Sen'jin Shieldmasta x2
Darkscale Healer x2
Gurubashi Berserker x2
Anub'Rekhan has a lot of removal and direct damage spells. Make him use it inefficiently on your high health minions. Heal them if they survive to soak up more. A lot of the new Naxxramas cards he uses are low attack minions, so attack into them with Gurubashi Berserker and get a big buff. Or just use or high health minions and your priest hero power to heal them back up.

Grand Widow Faerlina Druid Deck:
Innervate x2
Claw x2
Mark of the Wild x2
Wild Growth x2
Bloodfen Raptor x2
Bluegill Warrior x2
River Crocolisk x2
Razorfen Hunter x2
Shattered Sun Cleric x2
Chillwind Yeti x2
Gnomish Inventor x2
Oasis Snapjaw x2
Sen'jin ShieldMasta x2
Darkscale Healer x2
Gurubashi Berserker x2
Early game, try to play out as many cards as you can. Don't waste them frivolously, but starting out with low mana cards is good. Wild Growth and Innervate should help even if you don't get any low cost creatures. Gurubashi Berserker is a good way to lock down Faerlina's hero power as it gets a buff for each missile that hits it.

Maexxna Mage Deck:
Arcane Explosion x2
Acidic Swamp Ooze x2
River Crocolisk x2
Ironforge Rifleman x2
Shattered Sun Cleric x2
Wolfrider x2
Fireball x2
Polymorph x2
Gnomish Inventor x2
Sen'jin Shieldmasta x2
Stormwind Knight x2
Darkscale Healer x2
Stormpike Commando x2
Priestess of Elune x2 I made a mistake this is not actually a basic card. Any battlecry or charge minion should make a good replacement. e.g. Reckless Rocketeer
Try to develop a board early on when she can't use her hero power every turn. Later, use battlecry and charge minions to take out her board. Prioritize killing the high damage minions. You'll be taking face damage each turn, but that's okay since Maexxna has no direct damage burn spells to burst you down, and there is a good amount of healing in this deck. Use the Darkscale healer wisely to heal your other damaged minions. Maexxna has a lot of low attack minions, so even 2 points of health can make a big difference. Save your Polymorph for Maexxna's Sea Giant.

In the video, I briefly cover the decks I'm using and then go on and show a full battle with each Curse of Naxxramas Arachnid Quarter boss in the order of: Anub'Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, Maexxna. I made a few bad plays here and there, but that just goes to show you that even without playing perfectly, beating the AI bosses on Normal mode with a free basic level 1 deck is possible. On Heroic mode, probably not so much wihtout a decent amount of luck.
