Dark Destiny is a King's Field fangame by DMPDesign made in the Sword of Moonlight editor. The game follows the story of Dias Bagil, the man who would go on to become KF1US's Necron, as he seeks to unlock the darkness hidden deep inside him.

If you'd like to play this game, the full installer can be found here:

Heading back towards Central Village, but first, I put my Star Key into the pedestal north of the entrance into Central Village and get a chance to chat with a little fairy queen. She will be able to tell you about the effects of your items, be it a little history lesson for generic equipment like the Knight's Helm to the actual effect of things like Blood Stones.

Anyways, into Central Village, but now you want to go west to the shop of Radd Bilheim. For two Crystals each, he'll make you a Crystal Flask. Worth it!

Talking to him some more reveals that East Village is full of monsters and that Celffy Foss may have some more information about that place. Perhaps a visit is in order to him next time we're in the area, but for now, continue west on the rocky road to reach...Harvine's run down and old castle!

The first part of this area is basically the same as it was in KF1US. Two small rooms with locked chests that we STILL can't do anything about, each one guarded by a suit of living armor. Lots of health, does some decent damage.

You should also find a pair of bridges going over lava...but with everyone's beloved scythe wielding undead enemy waiting to greet you there. It has a ranged attack with a very obvious wind up tell which I believe can inflict paralysis.

With the two bridges leading across the lava, one leads to a locked door, the other leads to salamanders. They can either shoot dual firebirds at you or flail around and do jack squat for physical damage. The firebirds can hurt so you'd best close the gap so they go more on the physical offense.

Past the first gate beyond the salamanders are some wall faces that shoot projectiles. Nothing hard to take out.

The first half of this area is basically running around killing enemies for experience. Nothing all that special besides the pillars next to those wall faces which, ONCE AGAIN, can't be dealt with right now. I'm going to have to do a huge backtracking session, metroid style, at some point...right?

Anyways, second half of the area comes next time.
