The end times have come and we have our first of the 3 events coming up in the coming three months. Probably should have made thumbnail with a Wesker-Strago for 7 minutes.

This event includes coop medals that allow you to infinitely trade them for mats and points such as EP, BT books, ingots and such. No providence cores and brilliance points, mind you. You will have to get those through login rewards or gem exchange shop.

I have always liked Strago, but I couldn't get his BT at the time on any accounts, both versions. Well it is now or never, it is time to act and get to it. On the other hand, Lann & Reynn BT has been sitting there without BT+3 for a long time, so I maxed it and gave it a go for a 3 boss stage. Cater has been maxed for a long time, and since this boss does annoying things with debuffs and attacks, and they heavily discourage melee attacks, she is a great fit for dodging all of the problems.

HOWEVER! This is a rerun boss. It came out when Strago got his FR (no BT) and FR echo wasn't even a thing yet. As a result, they have really low HP (even by the standard of stages with 3 targets) and you can possibly complete this without FR and get the feeling that it is a Lufenia stage without orbs. So all in all, it isn't a great opportunity to try out missed out BTs and FRs, even though they are from a relatively far away time.

Looking back, this boss still has more interesting mechanics than what we have these days and they aren't even FT related for the most part. Since this is a rerun boss, I will just briefly touch on this:
1. Boss resist 99% physical BRV dmg
2. On HP thresholds (right), laser deals dmg to you and put multiple framed debuffs onto you.
3. On HP thresholds (left), they activate the defence system putting all BRV dmg to 1. You need to break them to deal BRV dmg again.
4. On HP thresholds (mid), boss immediately gets to 100% FG and fires FA if you are not already in FT.

I think I would have enjoyed the boss a lot more if they don't die so quickly lol. It felt more like a Cater run than Strago tbh. At least the twins BT/FR functions extremely well with its dramatic HP dmg cap up against 3 targets.

I actually thought about doing a Hope + Noel one, since Noel FR absolutely kills every fibre of this stage and Hope makes it so that we can just pretend the 99% BRV dmg reduction does not exist. Though I just got Strago ready, so might as well went with it even though the boss died u

"Current" end time plans
Will probably have to find another boss for him to shine. I thought about getting FuSoYa on JP for some wise old wizard runs too, but I am not sure if I will have enough resources or if I would actually get him. I am currently thinking mostly about getting Auron because I like FFX a lot, maybe Braska as well. I will have a lot more leeway on baby account. Cait Sith BT sounds fun too when I get the 4th crystal ability.

There will probably be some thematic runs sprinkled here and there. I will probably do a LR XIII related one, because I like FFXIII and well .... it features the end of time in Lightning Returns. Series runs or other whacky ideas too if I get the time, idea and mood. Hopefully they are entertaining enough!
