Rocket jumping: it's been a staple of "Boomer Shooters" since players were first discovering the secret exit in Mt. Erebus in 1993. Rise of the Triad honed the craft, Quake 1 perfected the art, and Team Fortress 2 made it a part of mainstream culture. Rocket jumping and Boomer Shooters go together like peanut butter and jelly. Yet, for as ubiquitous as rocket jumping is in these fast-paced arena shooters, the high-level technique has been oddly absent in ID Software's soft Doom reboot.

Until now.

Thanks to "Negate the stars" on the Doom 2016+ Modding Discord server (https://discord.gg/Hx3ppCZ), it's now possible to use this classic FPS maneuver in Doom Eternal. With this mod, Hugo Martin's "Fun Zone" is expanded into the third dimension as you zip across levels, sequence break the polarizing platforming segments, and finally get ample charging time for the Destroyer Blade. With options for full damage, half damage, or even no damage, players of any skill level can have fun blasting through these arenas.
