First map in and i'm already getting a taste of how Tangerine Nightmare is going to violate me. These maps are much more brutal than the rush maps i'm used to, however I am stunned.

This is going to be very controversial, and i'm sorry Datacore and FranckFRAG for my criticism, but this map's combat is cheap. The visuals are great, and it sets off a good introduction, but what ruins it for me is the lack of health pickups and the amount of hitscanners in fairly tight areas. Even in my regular playthrough of this game, this level proved to be a roll of the dice. many people will argue and say that "I'm simply crap at the game", however if I can speedrun through rush map1-6 and do fairly well overall, i'd say i'm pretty decent.

There's really not much to say about an opener, as you're only just about to dig into the wad, but hopefully this first map is not a bad omen to how the combat is going to be, otherwise this wad will rub me the wrong way.

Overall, i have absolutely no clue how anyone can get a run of sub 1:40 unless they have extremely good luck, which in my case I did not. I will happily take 1:46 and a self taught lesson to this map. Thank you for the starter of my halloween experience, however I wish it could have been a bit more fair.
