4https://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-ii-the-cube/downloads/cube3 Almost.. like we're going out of our heads, trapped in a never ending madhouse, I still remember well the 1997 Science Fiction horror film The Cube for what I believed at the time to be mind bending visuals effects, and to my surprise last year around the spring I had been looking up wads and came upon this tribute wad which was authored by P.Rex
Released on April 1rst 2020, The Cube is a one level wad that re-creates the concept of a endless amount of rooms based on the film, There's tricks used by the map to make it seem like every room is different and each one can have different combinations of monsters or weapons and also keys with all 3 keys needed to find the exit, I never could find the exit myself and the map will test the veteran doom players because of a unique trick where you enter a door walk back turn around the door you just passed has changed to another completely new room so its quite confusing, However this is a amazing wad to me, something that emulates a movie perfectly.
