Well, what can I exactly say about the Elder Scrolls series? It's to me the premiere rpg series, I've played most of them with only Daggerfall and Arena not being tackled. I had found out about this MMO RPG game in January 2020 but only began playing it in June and it is a polarizing game in so many ways, but yet it certainly is a game with effort into it.

Originally going back to April 2014, The PS4 version was released in June 2015 and I'm using the PS5 upgrade release from June 2021. Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited has so many new chapters to its name and dlc that this will be the only episode on this game since each chapter in my mind would have to have a episode, It's set in the second era and its premise is that we are one of 10 races including the Orc's, Khajiit's, Bretons, and so forth, main quest is about defeating Molag Bal and stopping Nirn from being absorbed by the planetmeld.

There are 6 classes to choose from which each having their own playstyle and skills with a 7th class coming this June from the Necrom Chapter named Arcanist. Weapon loadouts range from the sword/board combo, staffs of three choices, dual wielded weapons and many more combinations, I'll give ESO credit for actually making the class and skill systems less confusing than other MMO's like Neverwinter and Black Desert though it can be hard to decide what will work for you so experimenting is key.

The gist of each 3 zones of a alliance flows into the story when you are in that current area, completing the quests will advance you further into that alliance's overall backstory and current status, with the final zone of that alliance serving as the climax. Additional DLC and Chapters have added new zones including Gold Coast where the Dark Brotherhood reside, Hew's Bane where the Thieves Guild operate and much more, even dungeons were added as dlc.

There are some pitfalls as you have to be dedicated and well prepared for "Trials", These are 12 player dungeons which have many bosses and trash mobs along with such mind bending mechanics and all that it can put pressure on even the most prepared players, I've burned myself so bad on them that I'm generally neutral towards them and with my condition in my stomach they've taken a backseat until further notice, I'm not really.. someone who wants to be among the high class players who have the hardest achivements out there, being something I'm not isnt what I am.

Other pitfalls include sometimes you'll have issues getting jobs done due to enemies not spawning, a item doesn't appear or is in a wall. The economy of this game is truly atrocious and expect to pay high gold amounts for motifs and more, ESO also has a seriously toxic community and the developers? They are pathetic at times with how they communicate to the players, but I wouldn't expect anything less. ESO is addictive and I play it because of Crafting and overall meeting a lot of great players, It isnt perfect but what MMO is?
