The MMO.. Is there any game genre that has been more polarizing to me than this? I do play ESO often since I have played Elder Scrolls Games except for Daggerfall, and Arena. However it's taken me until now to tackle this free to play open beta MMO shooter/action game that goes back to March 2013 by Digital Extremes.

Warframe opens up with us select one of several possible classes of the "Tenno", ancient space warriors who have awakened from a long forgotten sleep, and it this massive universe, the grineer has begun waging war across the many galaxies and planets of space, but this is only just the start of this mmo. To begin with, Each class has their special weapons and attacks and for this episode I used the Excalibur who are skilled at energy and guns attacks.

Firstly I'm using the PS5 version of this free game, and its intro mission is by far the worst thing I've seen within a MMO yet, the controls will take time to get used to as each special move of each warframe class requires button combinations. A melee weapon such as the Excalibur's Staff uses the Circle button, while guns are the classic L2 aim R2 shoot, and this is where Warframe again got to me was its extremely uncomfortable swapping between melee and gunplay and energy attack usage which doesn't flow in any way making it too easy to suffer cheap hits.

Missions involve you going through various locations and collecting important info, saving hostages or other things, The missions aren't too bad at all though combat is a hit and miss with enemies often spawning behind you and again causing cheap hits. As you complete missions you can get mods and more for weapons and for the "Orbiter", the ship you return to and have as a base of operations.

Like other MMO's we level up our character and enemies also rise in level alongside us which is not unusual at all, and similar to other free to play games, yes there is a in game currency, the "Platinum" which is only used to speed up the process of gaining other operators, weapons, bonus skins, or deluxe store items, I didn't bother with PVP stuff because you know, there's enough stressful stuff in MMO's as it is. This game isn't exactly a diamond or something I would play everyday, A decent game but its age is showing today.
