https://www.moddb.com/mods/counter-strike-doom-martian-offensive-2017 I know well of Counter-Strike as It was a game I played on and off with Team Fortress Classic in the early 2000's. The simplicity of playing online with others with two factions which are the terrorists and counter-terrorists may seem basic to others but it was addictive, I don't play CS anymore but seeing CSGO and CS Online leaves no doubt that the series is still a major force in online play.

This mod is by AlphaEnt and I previously used an older version from 2019, Mod goes back to 2017 and was updated in November 2021. A weapons rip with some fancy features, Counter-Strike Doom Martian Offensive adds the realism and movement along with ammo counters from CSGO along with 40 weapons all from said game. Our starting weapons is a glock, a combat knife and a stun grenade, Each weapon slot holds one weapon like in CSGO so a key is required to drop weapons if you want to swap.

There are UAC "Marines" which replace the Chaingun guy and Imp fireballs are faster and do more damage. Not much of a different between Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist class you select from when you load the mod aside from the hand models. Difficulty will make all the difference as high skills take more armor away and Ammo pickups marked 1 through 10 give less ammo, It's a weapons rip which sometimes can be flat but CSD MO is truly remarkable for the work put into it.

[[I did play CS GO when it was brand new, being a hardcore CS 1.6 player long long ago, I wanted so bad to see what the hype was about, I had the ps3 port and of course the steam release. I found it fun though now I don't really touch it since I've been seeing so much on the game's bad hacking issues and the gambling scandal that happens, CS lost its identity because of that.

Around Season 7 and 8 of Doom Wads/Mods I was also trying to branch out and cover various types of mods and mods based on games I knew of, Back then I was tossing everything possible at the wall to see what would stick, But honestly with a upcoming 12th season I wanted to make it star-studded and full of names I'm sure people are aware of or have played before and this is something I plan to continue with each season having wads that most should know of or played along with lesser known ones and hidden gems]]
