https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/megawads/d64d2 Doom 64 is a unique case as I've talked of in the past, Doom has been ported to many consoles in the years such as the custom ps1 release which contains Doom, Doom II, master levels, tnt evilution and several exclusive levels while Final Doom on PS1 was released on it's own, N64 players got a completely new looking one which at the time wasn't as well received but now is a classic and was given a remastered version for modern consoles AND Pc so that should tell you how its reputaton has changed over the years.

This megawad was released on August 4rth 2018 and is a combination of efforts from project lead Mechadon with help from many people including Death Egg, BaronOfStuff, DeXiaZ and more with Jimmy, Viscra Maelstrom, and CoTeCiO among others composing a soundtrack of hard rock in the vein of Bobby Prince for the soundtrack to Doom 64 for Doom II, The trick here is all of the maps from Doom 64 were re-created using stock Doom II textures with some of the traps/sequences re-created using ACS Scripts.

Muscle memory still screws with me everytime I play this wad and then go to Doom 64 as the team behind d64d2 worked hard to make the wad close to possible what the original game did, although, there are some noticeable differences in the scripted sequences which were changed in some cases with the floor crushing you instead of the ceiling if you pick the wrong button in Map02 and with Hectic the most infamous of the 33 maps in Doom 64, it was somewhat neutered in its "delivery", Still I find this megawad to be amazing, It's surprising that see it was never ever nominated for a Cacoaward ever.

[[I'll be honest, Season 6, 7, and 8 put a massive strain on me as I was sometimes skipping sleep to get videos filmed, checked and uploaded and this was when I overdid it and developed my stomach condition that I still have, This is why when 2020 was reaching autumn I was resting and not recording, rather I set all of the said 3 seasons to air further ahead while I rested. Living with this condition is hard but I've eased my stress to keep myself from ever becoming as sick as I was 2 years ago.

And yet, Looking back 2 years ago I think Season 8 was where I began to really hit my stride because I was trying to manage a balance between wads and mods, and it was back in 2020 that I was starting to get requests, so I knew I was getting something good going, I want to keep seeing the series grow as the years pass and, See the doom community continue to thrive alongside.]]
