Dreamweb is a point and click adventure game released on the MS-DOS and Amiga in 1994. It is known for its cyberpunk setting mixed with low fantasy settings. It was developed by Creative Reality and published by Empire Interactive Entertainment.
In this world there is a subconscious plane that you access while dreaming called the Dreamweb. It has run by 7 people who carry a node. When they die the node is transferred to someone else. The forces of evil eventually take this over as this subconscious planes also affects the conscious plane. You play as Ryan and you are chosen to kill the 7 keepers of the nodes.
The user interface of this is fantastic, and reminds me of the game Hotline Miami, especially during the rare combat scenes, but is this a true hidden gem? Find out here:
