The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is the first SNES release, and the third overall release of the Zelda series. In fact, this was the first video I've ever played when I was around 6 or 7 years old. I've tried to avoid the nostalgia when playing this, which I feel like many Zelda fans fail to do unfortunately.

This is the Zelda game that started the formula still used to this day. It has heart pieces, the two sets of dungeons with the twist in the middle, the two world mechanics, and having items relevant to the dungeons. Each dungeon has a distinct theme as well.

I did find this to age incredibly well, and in retrospect I believed that this was the greatest Zelda game ever made. Do I still believe this? Find out here.
