Exit Fate is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. With 75 characters to recruit, a mixture of typical turn based combat and war battles, and an engaging story, the result is a very Suikoden-esque game.

The latest version of the game can always be found here:

Back at the meeting hall in the castle, but before you head into the hall, you'll want to make sure any two of Daniel, Shiro, Angel, Ayara, or Col are at a good level with weapons levels around 6-7 for attack & hit.

As the scene goes on, Daniel knows he has to make a very difficult decision, one that is going to potentially end the war. The decision is so tough to make for him that he converses with Ljusalf in his room, asking for his opinion. It's not a choice someone else can make...not easily at least.

Even so though, Ljusalf does come up with a very good point...Daniel's only looking at option A or option B. Maybe he oughta look for a third option?

Those very words spark something inside Daniel. Whether or not it's a solution, he did rediscover what his purpose here is all about. Head back to the meeting hall when you're ready to let Angel know of what Daniel's decision is....which is apparently rounding up the army and heading double time to Matrech before Kirgard reaches it.

As the scene moves out to the fields outside Matrech...Daniel and his army arrive just in time as Jovian's legion is about to lay siege to Matrech. Daniel does his work by essentially telling both sides to return to their corners or he and his army is gonna fight back and show no mercy. Kirgard's still reeling from that last battle after all.

Good news...Jovian sees that trying to fend off both Daniel's army and the Matrech Guard, while possible, would result in way too much bloodshed to be worth it and retreats.

Bad news? Erin flips her lid, feeling betrayed by Daniel's refusal to deal Kirgard a lethal deathblow here and now. Result? Daniel gets charged for treason and is to stand trial for his actions. Suddenly, a certain bald headed governor is getting his plan for screwing over Daniel going into full swing.

More next time!
