In todays video we are beginning a new chapter of work on the Lego city of “Why Not”. Todays video has been months in the planning, but as of recently we have learned of the arrival of two new buildings that will be going into the Lego city. These two new buildings are the Marvel Avengers Tower set #76269, and the Natural History Museum set #10326. We originally were planning on expanding the city for the beginning of the year, then install the train line, and finish with adding trees to the amusement park. But with the arrival of the Avengers Tower on Black Friday, and the early release of the annual modular building, we needed to add making a proper place for those buildings to that list of to-dos. I have many gripes on the layout of the city, there is a lot I would like to see moved and done. With these feelings I have a choice to make, do I just expand and add the 4 new MILS plates and put the modulars where they land. Or do I want to move the buildings around, and make something great, especially for when the new buildings comes. At first, after hours of work, I decided to just do the basic and drop them in wherever is the easiest. But then the next day and a good sleep, I came out with a flood of creative thoughts. We ended up buying another $200 in parts to put the Museum in its own space with accompanying side buildings. Then made plans to add a 16 stud modular for the space next to the Assembly Square. Everything literally got changed for the most part. We moved the majority of the existing modular building to new locations. A lot of mistakes were repaired in this video, and a lot of great changes were made. Now we have something super incredible, we just have to wait for the release days and parts to come to fill in the blank spaces. The next part in this series will be installing the transit line, and you don’t want to miss it! I thought these changes made some incredible progress, well next video is even better.
