Falconet Demo Playthrough (Steam Next Fest June 2024)
2This is a neat little 90s-inspired top-down shooter. There are a ton of weapons at your disposal - so many that you need to press 2 buttons simultaneously to select some of them, almost giving Radiant Silvergun vibes. You'll sometimes have to use particular weapons for progression.
It's a little surprising that this uses twin-stick controls but only offers 8 directions of movement/aim. There were no options whatsoever in the demo and it only shows minimal instructions for gamepad controls, though keyboard also appears to be supported. I would hope this gets improved in the full version.
