Final Fantasy VI Advance - Ch. 2 - Figaro Castle
3Welp, after getting the first chapter in the books I couldn't help myself from getting a head start on the second one...
PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI:
A thousand years after the world is scarred by war, history seems to be repeating itself. We meet Terra, a young girl with remarkable magical abilities being controlled by the Gestahlian Empire. Terra is taken to Narshe, where an Esper has been discovered deep in the mines. The encounter goes terribly wrong and Terra frantically tries to escape capture by Narshe forces, but exhausted she collapses. Luckily, thief err... treasure hunter Locke, a member of a resistance group called the Returners, comes to her rescue with the help of ragtag group of Moogles and are able to leave town. Next stop, Figaro Castle...
IN THIS CHAPTER:
We'll explore Castle Figaro, pick up some items and meet Edgar, the machinist, who later joins the party. There's a "boss" fight with two Magitek Armor soldiers, but it's really not very challenging and then we'll head to the cave that leads to South Figaro. The only thing I want to point out here is don't bother with the treasure chests in the cave to South Figaro. Apparently, the contents of these chests will change if you leave them untouched. Right now, they're 'Ethers' and whatnot, but one of them changes to a Thunder Rod, which is way more useful in the Locke/Celes scenario.
