Final Fantasy VI Advance - Ch. 6 - Doma Castle
0PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI ADVANCE:
Our heroes split into three groups, so we found ourselves in this weird nothing room, where Mog seemingly has some sort of omniscient God powers to be able to pick which scenario we want. Former Imperial General Celes joined our party and we got some sweet treasures before using her Runic abilities to beat Tunnel Armor. Meanwhile, Terra, Edgar and Banon continued down the Lethe River to Narshe, where we retraced our steps to get back to Arvis' house. That moogle room was nuts!
IN THIS CHAPTER:
Everybody's wondering what happened to Sabin, right? Well he washed up near some cabin and who's there? Shadow! For some reason he wants to tag along, so just say yes. Although he can leave you at any minute. We head to an Imperial camp near Doma Castle, where Kefka is... well, basically planning some genocide. We'll meet the retainer to the throne of Doma, Cyan and he'll later join our party before heading to some woods that look pretty sus...
A couple things to mention about this section. First off in the camp, when it gives you the option to either punch or kick the treasure chest. Kick it! Some dogs will show up and you'll have to fight some Dobermans. But it's the only part of the game where you can face this baddie, so if you want to get all of Gau's rages, you'll need to fight these hounds.
Secondly, I had already recorded this by the time someone brought this to my attention (Credit goes to Vegesther), but the Ribbon that we found in Locke's scenario would be wisely equipped to Sabin here. Eventually, you're going to fight an enemy called 'Satellite'. It's not a boss, but it's fairly strong and it will almost certainly use a move that will make Sabin go 'berserker' status. The Ribbon will keep Sabin from going berserker, making it much easier. You can still beat it regardless, but as you can see I BARELY go out of it and um... Shadow died. I wouldn't blame him for leaving me, but I guess it's hard when you're KOed.
