Final Fantasy VI Advance - Ch. 4 - Returner's Hideout & Lethe River
2PREVIOUSLY ON FINAL FANTASY VI ADVANCE:
We went around South Figaro finding hidden items and money, met Shadow for the first time and then headed to Mt. Kolts after gearing up. We stopped by a small cottage that looked very familiar to Edgar. In Mt. Kolts, a shadowy figure is creeping around. It's Vargas, son of Duncan, Edgar's brother Sabin's mentor. Vargas killed his own father and doesn't take too kindly to being followed. Luckily, Sabin shows up just in time and blitzes a little sense into him before joining your party.
IN THIS CHAPTER:
Terra, Locke, Edgar and Sabin proceed to the Returner's Hideout to meet their leader, Banon. Banon asks Terra to lend her abilities to help the cause. She agrees and they form a plan to try and make contact with the Esper in Narshe. However upon hearing that South Figaro is under siege, Locke splits from the group will the others raft to Narshe via Lethe River. Everything was going swimmingly, until a purple octopus decides to attack you for no reason.
