118In this video I show you how to fix Roblox not launching on PC & laptop. One of the common reasons why Roblox is not opening is because MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner is open on your computer. To solve the issue you will simply need to close either or both programs before attempting to open Roblox. Additionally, you can try closing other overclocking software that you may have open if you aren’t using MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner.
Another way to the Roblox not opening issue is to uninstall and reinstall Roblox. To uninstall Roblox you will need to open the Installed Apps settings on your computer if you have Windows 11, or Apps & Features on Windows 10. Here you can manually search for the Roblox Player application, or search for it using the search bar. Once you have found Roblox you will need to click the three dots to open the options, then choose to Uninstall. You will need to select Uninstall again to confirm that you want to uninstall Roblox. Once done you will need to wait for Roblox to be removed to ensure it has been uninstalled correctly.
After you have uninstalled Roblox you will need to delete the Roblox files before you reinstall Roblox. This will ensure that any corrupt files that may be causing Roblox not to launch are closed. If you have the installer file on your PC or laptop then you can simply double-click on it to reinstall Roblox. However, if you don’t have the file then you can go to the Roblox website and attempt to play an experience. Doing so will give you the option to download Roblox which will give you the installation file.
If you still can’t open Roblox then it may be because some of Roblox’s processes are running in the background. If this is the case then you might get the Roblox not launching issue as your PC thinks Roblox is already open. Additionally, other applications that may be open could also be stopping Roblox from opening. The easiest solution is to restart your PC or laptop. Doing so will close any applications and processes that are causing Roblox not to open.
