3In this video I show you how to favorite a fruit in Grow a Garden. You can favorite a fruit in Grow a Garden by right-clicking on it in your hotbar or inventory. Once you right-click on the item a heart will appear in the bottom corner, meaning the item has been favorited. If you want to unfavorite a fruit in Grow a Garden then you can right-click on a favorited fruit to unfavorite it. Additionally, you can also favorite a pet in Grow a Garden by right-clicking on it.
When you favorite a fruit you will prevent it from being sold when you sell your inventory. This allows you to keep special fruit with multiple mutations or a large size. This way you can show off the fruit and keep it around if you want to show it to friends.
Another option is to favorite a fruit that is in your garden. You can do this by using the favorite tool, which you can purchase from the gear shop. The favorite tool has 20 uses, and favoriting or unfavoriting a fruit will use up one of those uses. To favorite an item in your garden you will need to hold the favorite tool, then select the fruit that you want to favorite. If you want to unfavorite a fruit in your garden then you will need to select the favorite tool and select the favorited fruit.
When you have a favorited fruit in your garden you won’t be able to collect it. This ensures you don’t accidently collect the fruit when trying to collect something nearby. You can use this to keep fruit in your garden that you’re trying to get more mutations on, and is typically used for large fruits, or fruits with the gold or rainbow mutation.
