27In this video I show you how to make video smooth and colorful in CapCut PC. To make your video smooth you will need to add motion blur. The motion blur effect works particularly well with gaming clips and can make the gameplay look smooth, as commonly seen in Valorant montages. Preferably, you will want to use motion blur with videos that are 60 FPS or higher. This will improve the motion blur effect to help make your videos smoother.
If you want the best motion blur settings for CapCut then you will want to ensure the blur isn’t too overwhelming. For a subtle but smooth effect you can set the blur to 27 and blend to about 80. Additionally, setting the direction to both and speed to once or twice will give a subtle blur effect.
Additionally, you can make your video look colorful using the adjust settings. This allows you to make your video bright and saturated. Again, this is often used in gaming videos. Using the Adjust options in CapCut you can change the Lightness settings to make the video look better. Additionally, you can also change the Effects settings to make your videos look better. The 2 main settings you will want to change are Sharpen and Clarity. Increasing the Sharpen setting will refine the lines in your video and make the video look sharper. Meanwhile, increasing the Clarity setting will add more depth to your video, similar to adding Contrast. By adding clarity to your video it will pop and stand out more.
Next, you can also adjust individual colors separately. This gives you complete control of how your video looks and make your video more colorful. To do this you will need to select the HSL tab in the Adjust settings. Here you will see a series of colors to choose from. Once selected you can then adjust the hue, saturation, and brightness for your selected color. The hue adjusts how the color looks, allowing you to adjust the tone slightly. Meanwhile, the saturation controls how colorful or vibrant the color is. By increasing the saturation the color will be more rich and colorful. Additionally, you can adjust the brightness, which is how bright the selected color is. If you want to make the video more colorful in CapCut then you may want to increase the brightness slightly.
When editing your video you will also want to ensure that the resolution and frame rate are set correctly. This will ensure your video is high quality and smooth. To do this you can select the Ratio option under the video preview, then select Custom. You will want to set the resolution to match your video, and your frame rate to be 60 FPS. If your original video isn’t 60 FPS then you can set it to match your unedited video.
