Once you go to Apex’s site, click the ‘get started’ button. This will take you to Apex Minecraft Hosting’s pricing page. On this page, you will see all of the different RAM options. For a vanilla server with no mods or plugins, you will usually be okay with 2GB of RAM for just you and a few friends. If you are wanting to run mods or plugins on your Minecraft server, we recommend 4GB of RAM.
After you decide how much RAM you will need, click on the ‘Order Now’ button. That will take you to a page where you can enter your Minecraft username and subdomain. The subdomain is how you will be able to easily join your server without having to worry about the number and port. You can also select your Minecraft version here.
