About this video: In this video, we show you how to download and install Schematica in Minecraft 1.17! Specifically, we show you how to install Litematica 1.17, but Litematica and Schematica are the same mod for Minecraft 1.17. Litematica 1.17 will allow you to use schematics in Minecraft 1.17 just like you can with the Schematica mod. It will also let you create schematics in Minecraft to move your builds from one world to another with ease. That only scratches the surface of what Litematica can do as well. So, here is how to download Schematica 1.17 for Minecraft!
The first step of getting Litematica 1.17 is actually downloading and install the Fabric Mod Loader. You can find the download link to the Fabric Mod Loader in the description above, and we show you how to setup Fabric step-by-step in this video. You must use Fabric with Litematica as other mod loaders will not work.
Once you have Fabric, we can move on to how to download Litematica Minecraft 1.17 for Minceraft. You can find the Schematica download link for 1.17 in the description above. That will actually take you to our text tutorial for getting Schematica. Click the download button on this page, and you will go to the Litematica 1.17 download page. From there, look at the right-hand sidebar. You will see the 1.17 Litematica mod. Click the download button next to this version, and Schematica for Minecraft 1.17 will start downloading. You will need to keep or save the file depending on your browser.
The above download process need to be repeated for the MaLiLib mod linked above. This is a compatibility mod for Litematica 1.17, so you will need to download it.
Once you have Litematica downloaded, we can get it installed. Luckily, it is easy to install Litematica 1.17. Just press the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the same time. That will open up the Run app. Type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter in this app. That will open up your Roaming folder. In the roaming folder, you will see a .mincraft folder. Open that, and you will see a mods folder. If you don’t see a mods folder, create one! Open the mods folder, and drag-and-drop Litematica and MaLiLib into this folder. You have now installed Schematica in Minecraft 1.17!
You aren’t don’t just yet though! You still need to open the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, select the ‘Fabric’ installation, and click the green ‘Play’ button. When you do this, Minecraft 1.17 will open up with Schematica installed!
