To get XRay, you will need to start with downloading it. You can find the link to the text tutorial on install XRay in the description above. Once you are there, click the ‘Download XRay Ultimate’ button. This will take you to the 1.17.1 XRay Ultimate Texture Pack download. On this page, scroll down and look at the right-hand side. You will the see a ‘Minecraft 1.17’ section. Under that section you will see the 1.17.1 XRay resource pack. Click the orange download button next to the version to start downloading XRay for Minecraft 1.17.1!
After that, we can move on to installing XRay 1.17.1. This is actually pretty simple. Open up Minecraft 1.17.1. From the main menu go to options, Resource Packs, and click ‘open resource pack folder’. This will open up your resource pack folder. To install 1.17.1 XRay, drag-and-drop XRay Ultimate into this folder.
Now, go back to Minecraft 1.17.1. You will now see XRay Ultimate in the 'available packs' section. To activate, hover over it and click the little arrow to move it to the select resource pack section. Then, click done. XRay will then activate in Minecraft 1.17.1.
You can easily remove XRay in game by hitting escape, going to options, and move XRay 1.171 to the selected packs folder. XRay can be added and removed easily using this method.
