Well, they are a newer shaders mod for Minecraft that allows you to install shaders packs without using Optifine. This can be helpful for using Minecraft 1.17 shaders with mods as well as using shaders in Minecraft in the simpliest way possible.
The first step of install Iris shaders for Minecraft 1.17 is downloading the Minecraft shaders pack that you want to install. The good news is that all Optifine shaders pack work automatically with Iris Shaders for 1.17 meaning that you will be able to use pretty much all shaders packs that are out there with Iris.
Where do you find Minecraft shaders pack? Well, in the description above, we have a list of 5 shaders packs that are absolutely incredible and have support for Minecraft 1.17.
