Steps to Set Up and Use Secure Folder for Apps and Photos
1. Enable Secure Folder
Open Settings:

Go to Settings on your Android phone.
Navigate to Biometrics and Security - Secure Folder.

Sign In:
Sign in with your Samsung account. If you don’t have one, create an account as prompted.
Set Authentication:

Choose a lock type: PIN, Pattern, Password, or enable Biometrics (fingerprint or face recognition).

Confirm your selection. This lock is separate from your device’s main lock screen for added security.

Wait for Setup:
Secure Folder will initialize, creating an encrypted space. This may take a few seconds.

Access Secure Folder:
Once set up, find the Secure Folder app on your home screen or app drawer.

2. Lock Apps in Secure Folder
Add Apps to Secure Folder:
Open the Secure Folder app and enter your PIN/password/biometric.
Tap Add Apps (or the “+” icon).

Select apps from the list (e.g., Gallery, WhatsApp, or Notes) or download new apps directly from the Galaxy Store or Play Store within Secure Folder.
Apps added to Secure Folder are duplicated and isolated from their counterparts outside the folder.

Use Apps Securely:

Open apps within Secure Folder; they’ll require authentication each time.
Data (e.g., messages, files) in these apps is separate from the main device’s apps.
