How to Fix Android Phone with Water in Speakers!
Initial Preparation (1-2 minutes)
Power Off (If Needed): If the phone was recently submerged, power it off (Settings - Power Off or hold the power button) to prevent short circuits. If it’s been a while and the phone is functional, you can keep it on.
Wipe the Exterior: Use a dry cloth or paper towel to wipe the speaker grille (usually at the bottom or top of the phone) and remove surface water.
Remove Case: Take off any case or accessories to ensure unobstructed access to the speaker.
Position the Phone: Hold or place the phone with the speaker facing downward to let gravity assist water removal.
2. Play a Low-Frequency Tone (2-3 minutes)
Use a Dedicated App:
Download a speaker cleaning app from the Google Play Store, such as:
Fix My Speakers (free, simple interface).
Speaker Cleaner – Remove Water (designed for water ejection).
Open the app, grant permissions (e.g., media access), and select the water ejection or cleaning mode.
