How to Update any Graphics Card on your Windows 10 or 11 PC
Updating your graphics card drivers on Windows 10 or 11 can enhance performance, fix bugs, and ensure compatibility with new software or games. Here's how you can update your graphics card drivers:
Method 1: Using Windows Update
Windows 10:
Click on the Start menu, then select Settings (gear icon).
Go to Update & Security.
In the Windows Update section, click Check for updates.
If there are updates available for your graphics drivers, they should be included here. Click Download & Install.
Windows 11:
Click on the Start menu, then select Settings.
Navigate to Windows Update.
Click Check for updates.
If there are graphics driver updates, they'll be listed. Click Download & Install to update them.
This method is straightforward but might not always have the very latest drivers.
Method 2: Using Device Manager
Open Device Manager:
Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
Find Your Graphics Card:
Expand the Display adapters section to see your graphics card(s).
Update Driver:
Right-click on your graphics card, then choose Update driver.
Search for Drivers:
Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Windows will search for and install any available updates. If no update is found, you might want to try the next method.
