How to change (modify) the lettering and numbering of the license plate in Grand Theft Auto V Online

This video will show you how to change or modify the lettering and numbering of the license plate associated with your player character in the game Grand Theft Auto V Online. In order to accomplish this, you are going to need a PHYSICAL mobile device (NOT the mobile phone used in game by your player character) but rather a physical Android device (tablet or smartphone) or a physical iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and internet access on this mobile device. On this physical mobile device, you either want to log in to the Google Play Android Market or the iTunes App Store (dependent on your mobile operating system). In the Google Play Android Market or the iTunes App Store, search 'iFruit' and you should find the Grand Theft Auto iFruit app. This app should be downloaded and installed (it is a free app, but network traffic charges may apply if you are on a limited connection or plan). Once the app has been downloaded and installed, you should launch the app. Once the iFruit app is launched, you will need to login using your Rockstar Games Social Club username and password (these are the same credentials you use to login to GTA V Online). Once logged into the iFruit app, tap on the LS Customs (Los Santos Customs) icon. Once LS Customs is launched, the top three vehicles listed are those that your single player campaign story mode characters use, and the last slot at the bottom is the vehicle that your online user character uses in the online world. You can cycle through these online user character vehicles to choose which you care to apply your custom license plate to (this if your online player character owns more than one vehicle of course). Once your desired vehicle has been selected, you want to tap on the CUSTOMIZE icon at the bottom (icon is of a screwdriver and a wrench). In the Customize menu, ensure that the vehicle name listed above is the desired vehicle that you wish to apply the custom plate to. Note that you can only have one custom license plate active in the online game world, however you CAN apply this same plate to multiple vehicles. In the Customize menu, with the appropriate vehicle selected above, click on the PLATES icon below (icon of ABC). In the Plates menu, you can modify the lettering and numbering as well as the background appearance of your custom plate. Remember that even though you can store up to 30 custom plates in the app, only ONE custom plate can be active at any given time in the game world. Once your custom plate is designed and is to your liking, ONCE AGAIN tap on the CUSTOMIZE icon at the bottom (icon is of a screwdriver and a wrench). In the Customize menu, ensure that the custom plate listed above is correct, as is the selected vehicle which you wish to apply said plate to. If everything checks out, tap on the ORDER button. The app will then let you know when your plate will be available in the game world. When the custom plate is ready in the game world, you will have to log into the GTA 5 Online game on your gaming console or PC. In the game world, drive your selected vehicle to any Los Santos Customs Mod Shop. In the Los Santos Customs garage, under available upgrades, you should have an option for PLATES, and under this Plates option, you can select and apply the custom license plate to your online vehicle. To apply this custom plate to different online vehicles, you will have to get into another one of your online vehicles and again drive this vehicle to a Los Santos Customs Mod Shop and repeat this process for every owned vehicle which you wish to apply your custom license plate to.
