How to compare and contrast gasoline prices in your area using your standard web browser
This video will show you how to compare and contrast gasoline prices in your area using your standard web browser. In your web browser, go to the Google Maps website, available at http://maps.google.com . Under the 'Search Google Maps' search bar, type 'fuel' followed by pressing the enter key - this will show you the fuel prices of select gas stations in your surrounding area (seeing as fuel prices are generally extremely similar from one gas station to another when in proximity to one another, this should give you a good idea of the price range of fuel in any given sector). Furthermore, you can compare and contrast fuel prices from one sector to another by dragging the map to a different area, and then by selecting the 'Search This Area' option made available at the top of the browser window once the map has been moved, causing which gas stations are displayed on your map (along with their respective fuel prices) to refresh and update on your displayed map. By performing this research along the route of your commute before filling up, you can ultimately find the lowest fuel price along your route to fill up your tank.
