1. Hard Reset the Controller 🔄
This is the most common fix. The reset button will clear the controller's current pairing information, preparing it for a fresh connection.
Completely turn off your PS5 console.
On the back of the controller, locate the small hole next to the SONY logo, near the L2 trigger.
Use a small tool like a paperclip or a pin to press and hold the button inside this hole for about 5 seconds.
The controller will turn off, indicating the reset is complete.
2. Reconnect with a USB Cable
A simple wired connection is the best way to re-pair the controller with the console.
Use a USB-C cable that supports data transfer (the one that came with the PS5 is ideal).
Plug the cable into the front USB-C port on the PS5 and then into the controller.
