In this video, we show you exactly how to download and install Forge in Minecraft 1.15.1. We show you how to find the official Forge 1.15.1 download link, how to add Forge to Minecraft 1.15.1, and we show you how to fix some of the issues that you can run into when installing Minecraft Forge in 1.15.1! So, without any more delay, here is how you can download and install Forge in Minecraft 1.15.1.
First and foremost, you will need to download Forge 1.15.1. Luckily, you can find our tutorial above that will take you to the official Forge download link for Minecraft 1.15.1. Once you click the link in the description above, you will be taken to our website. On our website, you can click the green 'Download Forge' button to be taken off to Forge's official website. Here, you can click '1.15' in the left-hand sidebar, select '1.15.1', and then, you will see the Forge download system. Here, click on 'Installer' under the latest release section. This will take you off to Ad Focus where you don't want to click anything on the page other than the red 'Skip' button in the top right. When you click the red skip button your Forge 1.15.1 download will begin. Just make sure that you are download 'Forge-1.15.1. If you are, the download is safe to save/keep!
Now that you have Forge downloaded, it is time to get it installed in Minecraft 1.15.1. This process is pretty simple. Just fine the Forge file you downloaded, and right-click on it. Click on 'Open With', and then click 'Java TM Platform SE Binary', and click 'OK'. This will open up the Mod System Install for Minecraft Forge 1.15.1. To install Forge in Minecraft 1.15.1, just click on 'Install Client', and click 'Okay'. The installer will then start automatically installing Forge for Minecraft 1.15.1. The only reason that this won't work is if you haven't played Minecraft 1.15.1 before. If that is the case, go launch it, and reinstall Forge using the method mentioned above.
At this point, all you need to do in order to play Minecraft 1.15.1 with Forge installed is open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow to the left of the 'Play' button, and click on 'Forge'. Under this, you will see 'Forge 1.15.1'. Once you have clicked on that, you can click on the green play button to open up Minecraft 1.15.1 with Forge installed!
