This video is a complete guide on how to download and install Minecraft Maps in Minecraft 1.15. We go over every single step of adding maps to Minecraft 1.15. From downloading your custom Minecraft maps to installing your custom Minecraft maps to Minecraft 1.15, it is all covered in this video. I even show you how to play old Minecraft maps in Minecraft 1.15 allowing you to update all kinds of old Minecraft Maps to the newest version of Minecraft. Thus, without any more delay, let's go ahead and learn how to download and install maps in Minecraft 1.15!
First things first, we need to download some custom Minecraft maps for 1.15. You can find our list of the top Minecraft 1.15 custom #Maps in the description above. Once you are there, scroll down until you find the custom map that looks fun to you. All of these #MinecraftMaps install the exact same way, so any of them will work. Once you click the download button on our site you will be taken to the maps download page, where you can click the download button to make the map start downloading.
After you have your Minecraft 1.15 map downloaded, you need to double click on the map and keep clicking until you see 'DIM1', 'DIM-1', and other folders. Once you do, go back one folder and drag-and-drop that to your desktop. Now, you can install the map by opening up the start menu and searching for the 'Run' application. Open this app, and type '%appdata%' in the text box, and hit enter. This will open your roaming folder. Here you will have a '.minecraft' folder. Open that folder, and you will have a saves folder.
Now, all you need to do in order to install Minecraft Maps in Minecraft 1.15 is drag-and-drop your custom map into the saves folder. When you do, open up the folder of your custom map and double-check that you see 'DIM1'. If you do, your custom Minecraft 1.15 map is now installed!
To play your custom map in Minecraft 1.15, open up Minecraft 1.15, and click on singleplayer. Here you will see the Minecraft map that you installed. You may have to confirm that you want to upgrade the map you downloaded to the newest version. As long as this is a map from the version just before Minecraft 1.15, you will have no problems.
