Once you have the Forge Mod Loader installed in 1.16.3, you will be able to get any Minecraft 1.16.3 mod you want as long as it is compatible with Forge, which most are. Thus, without any more delay, here is how to download and install Forge for Minecraft 1.16.3!
The first step of getting Forge is downloading it. To get start download 1.16.3 Forge, click the link in the description above. That will actually take you to our text tutorial for adding Forge to Minecraft 1.16.3. If we go too fast in the video, this is a great place to look. However, once you are here, you just need to scroll down and click the green ‘Download Forge’ button. You will then be taken to the official Forge download page.
Once you are on the Forge download page, make sure 1.16.3 is selected. It should say ‘MC 1.16.3’ in the center of the screen. If it doesn’t, click on ‘1.16’ on the left-hand side, and click ‘1.16.3’. You will then see ‘Forge for MC 1.16.3’ on the page. In order to download Forge for Minecraft 1.16.3, click on the ‘Installer’ button under download latest. That will take you take you to Ad Focus where you don’t want to click anything on the page other than the red ‘Skip’ button that appears in the top right. When you click, Forge 1.16.3 will start downloading. You will need to keep the file in Chrome and save it on Firefox.
After you have Forge downloaded, it is time to learn how to install Forge in Minecraft 1.16.3! To install Forge, right-click on the file you downloaded, click ‘Open With’, click ‘Java’, and click ‘Okay’. If you don’t have Java, you need to download Java for Minecraft from the description above. You may also have to run the Jarfix linked above.
Now that you have opened up Forge with Java, just click on ‘Install Client’, and click ‘Okay’. Minecraft Forge 1.16.3 will the start the download and install process. Once it is finished, you will see a ‘Forge has been successfully installed’ message. When you click ‘okay’ the Forge installer will close.
In order to play Forge in Minecraft 1.16.3, you will need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click on the little arrow next to the play button, select the Forge profile, and click ‘Play’. In some cases, you may not have a Forge profile or your Forge profile won’t be for Minecraft 1.16.3. If that is the case, just create a new installation of Minecraft.
