Enable Developer Options on Android Phone
Open Settings: Launch the "Settings" app.
Go to About Phone: Scroll to "About Phone" or "About Device" (may be under "System" on some devices).
Locate Build Number: Find "Build Number" (sometimes under "Software Information").
Tap Build Number 7 Times: Quickly tap "Build Number" seven times. A message may show, like "You are X taps away from being a developer."
Enter PIN/Password (if prompted): Input your device’s PIN, password, or pattern if required.
Confirmation: You’ll see "You are now a developer!" Developer Options is now enabled and appears in the Settings menu (often under "System" or as a standalone option).
Access Developer Options
Return to the main "Settings" menu.
Find "Developer Options" (check under "System" if not visible).
Tap to explore advanced settings like USB debugging or animation scales.
Disable Developer Options
Open Settings: Go to the "Settings" app.
Find Developer Options: Navigate to "Developer Options" (look under "System" if needed).
Toggle Off: Tap the toggle switch at the top of the Developer Options screen to disable it. This hides the menu but retains your settings.
Optional (Reset Completely): To fully reset Developer Options:
Go to Settings - Apps - Manage Apps.
Select the "Settings" app.
Tap "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage" (this resets all system settings, including Developer Options, and hides the menu).
Warning: This may reset other preferences, so proceed carefully.
