Enabling TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on a GIGABYTE B450M motherboard for Windows 11, along with fixing common errors, involves precise BIOS adjustments. Below is a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Enter BIOS
Restart your PC and press Del or F2 repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS.

Step 2: Enable TPM 2.0 (fTPM)
Go to the Peripherals or Settings tab.
Locate AMD fTPM or Trusted Computing.
Set Security Device Support to Enabled.

Select AMD CPU fTPM for TPM 2.0.
Save changes (F10) and reboot back into BIOS.
Error Fix: If fTPM is missing or grayed out:

Ensure your CPU supports fTPM (most Ryzen CPUs do, e.g., Ryzen 2000 series and later).

Update BIOS to the latest version from GIGABYTE’s support page for your B450M model.

If using a discrete TPM module, select Discrete TPM instead and ensure it’s installed correctly.

Step 3: Disable CSM for UEFI Mode
Navigate to the Boot or BIOS tab.

Find CSM Support (Compatibility Support Module) and set it to Disabled. This switches to UEFI mode, required for Secure Boot.
Save (F10) and reboot into BIOS again.
