How to Find Hidden Apps on iPhone & Unhide them (Fast Method)
Find and Unhide Apps from the Hidden Folder (iOS 18 or Later)
The Hidden folder in iOS 18 stores apps that were hidden and locked with Face ID or a passcode.
Locate the Hidden Folder:
Swipe left on your Home Screen until you reach the App Library.
Scroll to the bottom of the App Library to find the Hidden folder (it may appear as a grayed-out folder).
Alternatively, use the search bar at the top of the App Library: tap it and type the name of the app you suspect is hidden.
Access the Hidden App:
Tap the app icon in the Hidden folder or search results.
Authenticate with Face ID (or your passcode if Face ID isn’t set up or fails) to unlock and open the app.
Unhide the App:
In the Hidden folder or search results, press and hold the app icon until a menu appears.
Tap Add to Home Screen to place the app back on your Home Screen, or drag the icon directly to the Home Screen.
The app will now be visible on the Home Screen and remain in the App Library’s regular categories.
