To check your PS5 console storage using the PlayStation App on your phone, follow these steps:

Ensure Your PS5 is Linked:
Open the PlayStation App on your iOS (14.0 or later) or Android (8.0 or later) device and sign in with the same PlayStation Network account used on your PS5.

Link your PS5 to the app: Go to Settings - Link Console to App in the PlayStation App, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your PS5. Ensure your PS5 is in rest mode with Stay Connected to the Internet enabled (PS5 Settings - System - Power Saving - Features Available in Rest Mode).
Check Storage Space:

From the PlayStation App home screen, navigate to Settings - Storage. This option allows you to view the available storage space on your PS5 console, including the built-in storage, M.2 SSD (if installed), and USB extended storage (if connected).

You can see details about used and free storage space for games and apps.
Manage Storage (Optional):

To free up space, select Games and Apps from the storage menu. You can choose to delete games or apps remotely to make room for new downloads. For example, select a game, choose Delete, and confirm. You can re-download deleted games from your Game Library later.

If you have an M.2 SSD or USB extended storage, you can also manage content stored there, such as moving PS5 games to the M.2 SSD or copying PS4 games to USB storage.
