To change the boot order and start from a USB, DVD, or CD on Windows 11, follow these steps:
Access the BIOS/UEFI Settings:
Turn on or restart your computer.
While the display is blank, press the F10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu. Note that on some computers, you might need to press F2 or F6 instead.
Alternatively, during the initial startup screen, you can press ESC, F1, F2, F8, or F10 to access the BIOS setup utility.
Navigate to the Boot Settings:
Once in the BIOS, go to the boot settings.
On notebook computers, select Storage - Boot Options.
On desktop computers, select System Configuration - Boot Options.
Modify the Boot Order:
Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, select the BOOT tab.
Adjust the boot order by moving the desired boot device (such as USB, DVD, or CD) to the top of the list.
Save your changes and exit the BIOS.
Restart Your Computer:
Now, when you boot your computer, it will follow the sequence you’ve set in the BIOS or UEFI firmware settings.
