How to Mute All Sound
Locate the Mute Button: This is the small, horizontal button on your DualSense controller, located directly below the PlayStation (PS) button. It has a small microphone icon on it.
Press and Hold: Instead of a quick press, you need to press and hold this button for a few seconds.
Check for the Flashing Light: The light on the mute button will begin to blink or flash orange, indicating that all audio output from the console has been muted. A notification will also appear on your screen to confirm that audio has been silenced.
