How to Share Screen on PS5 & View on Phone PlayStation App (Best Method)
4To share your PS5 screen and allow others to view it in a party chat using the PlayStation App on a phone, follow these steps:
On the PS5 (Sharing the Screen):
Start or Join a Party:
Press the PS button on your DualSense controller to open the Control Center.
Select Game Base - Parties tab.
Choose an existing party or create a new one by selecting Start Party (choose Open Party for friends or friends of friends, or Closed Party for invited players only).
Begin Share Screen:
In the party’s voice chat card, select Start Share Screen. A notification will appear confirming that your screen is being shared.
Your gameplay (or other PS5 content, depending on the game’s restrictions) will now be visible to others in the party.
Optional Settings:
To allow viewers to interact (e.g., ping or draw on your screen), enable Viewer Interactions in the Share Screen settings when prompted.
Note that some games may block certain scenes or the PS5 home screen for privacy reasons.
